On May 29, 2019 a tourist boat (Hableany) sailing along the Hungary Danube river, carrying 33 Korean tourists and 2 crew members, collided with a cruise ship. Only 7 survived and 27 people remain dead or missing after the tragedy.

The Korean government with the cooperation of the Hungarian side, sent out a joint search and rescue team dispatched from the SSU, the International Rescue Service and the Seafarers.

Hungary, as well as the Serbia, Croatia, Romania and Ukraine is also cooperating to search for the missing people. Many people are expressing their condolences to the victims along the banks of the Danube river.

Please send your condolences and support to the victims and families of this tragedy and encouragement to the rescuers and all people sharing our messages of sympathy.
